BCA student won First Prize

Students of BCA (I, III, V semester) SDCMT attended two days workshop on LINUX and DevOps organized by ap2v during 19th – 20th September, 2018 at SDEC, SC Block. Topics -Open Source Linux Operating System, DevOps, Python, and Cloud Computing were discussed and hands-on training was given to students. It had been also described that “How to create virtual machine” during workshop. All the students participated with great enthusiasm and interest. Workshop was concluded with a Quiz Session in which all the students participated. Mr. Kamil Saifi student of BCA III SEM won the first prize and got 100% scholarship for pursuing any one course from AP2V. Congratulations to Kamil and we wish him good luck for all future endeavors. Dr. Anju Saxena, Executive Director, SDGI distributed certificates to all the students.

Awarded in Regional Student Project Contest

It is proud to announce that our students of BCA won special mention award in Regional Student Project contest on CSI STPI - YITP Awards 2020 -Region 1 on the theme - Smart Technologies for Digital India organized by Computer Society of India Ghaziabad chapter on 4th January, 2020 at Sharda University, Greater Noida. Students from various Universities, Engineering Institutes, Management Institutes from Northern India participated in the contest. Event was inaugurated by Mr Apoorva Agha , National Convener, CSI YITPA Awards. Dr Kavita Saxena, Dean Academics, SDCMT welcome all the guest as Chairperson, Ghaziabad Chapter. Around 35 teams participated in the contest.

Mr. Kamil(BCA 3RD YR), Mr. Arun Sharma(BCA 2ND Yr) and Hardik Sharma(BCA 2ND yr,) achieved special mention award by presenting their own developed software project “Attendance Register System” on Android platfrom. The awards were presented by Chief Guest Mr R K Vyas (National Vice President, CSI) in the presence of Mr Arvind Sharma (RVP-I), Mr S C Tyagi (Div Chair III), Kavita Saxena (Chairperson, Ghaziabad Chapter). Dr. Arvind Singh,Director SDCMT congratulated students and motivated students to participated more in such technical events, Mr. Akhil Agarwal, Vice Chairman, SDGIand Shri Mahendar Agarwal, Chairman, SDGI also given blessings to students to achieve award in student project contest.

Tech-quiz

Sunder Deep College of Management and Technology, BCA organised “TechQuiz’19”, Technical Quiz Contest on Saturday, 7th September, 2019. Event started with welcome address by Dr. Kavita Saxena, Dean BCA followed by motivational words by Dr. Arvind Singh Director SDCMT. Students of BCA participated in contest which was based on fundamental of computers. Event was well co-ordinated by Ms.Madhavi Saxena, Mr. Avneesh Srivastav and Mr. Kartik Rastogi, more than 100 students participated with full enthusiasm and interest. Student co-ordinators Kamil, Hardhik Kumar , Arun Sharma contributed as core committee members. Special thanks to the whole team for the success of the event. Objective of this event was to improve technical skills of the students. Program concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Kavita Saxena followed by announcement of result by Dr. Arvind Singh, Director SDCMT.
